防老剂

橡胶及其制品在长期贮存和使用过程中，由于受到热、氧、臭氧、变价金属离子、机械应力、光、高能射线的作用，以及其它化学物质和霉菌等的侵蚀，会逐渐发粘、变硬发脆或龟裂。这种物理机械性能随时间而下降、弹性降低的现象叫做老化。随着老化过程的进行和发展，橡胶及其制品性能会逐渐降低以致完全丧失使用价值。为此，需在橡胶及其制品中加入某些化学物质来提高它对上述各种破坏作用的抵抗能力，延缓或抑制老化过程，从而延长橡胶及其制品的贮存期和使用寿命，这类物质叫做防老剂
